A note to "Medal
Collectors and Enthusiasts"
The Patton Society has not included the
World War II Germany Occupation Medal in this collection
on purpose. The medal was not created and authorized until 1946,
by which time General Patton was buried in Luxembourg. Since Patton
neither received nor wore the medal or its ribbon, we decided
to preclude it from this page. General Patton was a stickler for
displaying only those ribbons authorized for wear.
